From Las Vegas to Side Step Mullets

So... it's been a while since we have updated our blog. We've gotten several requests from some of our friends that we need to add more. So, here we go.

A couple of weeks ago, for the President's Day holiday, we went down to Las Vegas. Our friends Zack and Deena Taylor came with us. It was nice to get out of cold and miserable Utah and have some fun down there. We went to a club one night (Libby knows people who know people, so we got in for free!), Zack and Logan went golfing, we did a little shopping, went bowling, and just had a lot of fun.

Of course, Logan won in bowling, making Ashley Sasser (sorry... I forgot her last name) pretty disappointed. Apparently she never loses.

The week after that Mallory went to Boise for Amy's birthday. She said she had a lot of fun and that she didn't want to come back. I'm glad she did though. However, while she was gone, I went and rented "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" for the XBox 360. It was a really fun and intense game. I played it most of the weekend and beat it the same day that I rented it. Brittany, Brad, and Mr. Destructo (Ty) came over to be my friends. It's really funny watching Ty throw fits when he doesn't get what he wants. We watched the Memphis/Tennessee basketball game, which turned out to be pretty good.

This past week was spent finalizing my application for the Marriott School of Management. Right now, BYU has the #1 regional MBA program in the nation(according to the Wall Street Journal). Their undergraduate business program just moved up to #7 overall and is ranked #1 among recruiters (according to BusinessWeek Magazine). The top rankings are:
#1 - University of Pennsylvania
#2 - Virginia
#3 - Notre Dame
#4 - Cornell
#5 - Emory
#6 - Michigan
Take that MIT, Berkeley, and Harvard! I feel pretty confident that I will get in. The director of the program, Joan Young, told me that my essay was very impressive. We'll find out in two weeks. Keep your fingers crossed and pray for us.

Yesterday I decided I needed to do something with my hair. However, I couldn't decide whether I wanted to grow it out more and keep it long or cut it short. So... I compromised. I kept the back long and cut the front short. MULLET!!! I also decided that it would be best for humanity if I added some side steps to it as well! Enjoy!
